"The acai berry may be native to South America, but it has become a phenomenon in America. Acai bowls are easy to make and versatile in the toppings. This is my favorite nutritious breakfast recipe because you can create many different flavors, depending on the diverse range of toppings you choice to add." ~ Evita Woolsey

Ingredients: 

  • 2 packets frozen, unsweetened acai

  • 1 large frozen sliced banana

  • 1/3 cup-1/2 cup almond, rice, or cow's milk

  • Honey

Instruction: 

  1. Rinse Acai packets under cold water for 10 seconds. Cut open, remove plastic and place in a blender.

  2. Add frozen bananas and milk and blend until smooth. Stop and scrape down sides if necessary.

  3. Place in a bowl and top with any of your favorite toppings.
